Currently, the Enterprise Business Group has an opportunity for a Sr. Software Development Engineer to join our Enterprise Business team in the design and development of new data networking products.
  
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities Include:

• Owner of all database related functionality for the product.
• Own the database of architecture/schema for the product.
• Create and maintain all stored procedures, triggers and other database related code.
• Responsible for the install, upgrade, backup/restore features of the product.
• Create and maintain the system management API.
• Create and maintain database documentation including interface specifications, API, etc. 
• Responsible for architect and implementation of the database systems used for several Alcatel-Lucent real-time communications products.
• Will provide technical leadership to the engineering team for database architecture, development and administration.

 
Qualifications
Education and all minimum requirements Include:

BA in related field or equivalent years.

• 10+ years of commercial software development for enterprise and / or telco service provider space.
• Sr. self-motivated professional software engineer with emphasis on database experience.
• This person will have shipped commercially successful products for enterprise deployments: telco//carrier product experience is a strong plus.
• Experience developing for Linux/Unix is required.
• Postgres required.
• Active directory is a strong plus.
• HSS experience is a plus.
• Must have working experience with Apache and CGI programming, LDAP, Perl, C, C++
