Overview:
The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Business Analysis will lead, develop and coach a team of Business Analysts in basic and advanced analytics and sales reporting. In addition, the Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Business Analysis will perform advanced, business-driven analyses (return on investment (ROI), promotion response, sample optimization), manage all prescription data reports, interpret results of analyses for internal customers, maintain database of ad hoc data requests with disposition and maintain SOPs, WPs and compliance with PDRP. The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Business Analysis will manage the relationship between Salix and Wolters Kluwer, Verispan and other vendors as required.
 
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
We seek a candidate with a Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field and at least 4 years experience in pharmaceutical business analytics. Must be an advanced user of SAS for statistical analysis in a pharmaceutical context. The ideal candidate will have experience with cluster analysis, multivariate regression, event history analysis, neutral networks, ordinal categorical regression and other statistical methodologies. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, organizational and workload planning skills along with excellent verbal and written communication. Must have previous experience working with pharmaceutical sales data. Experience managing analytic professionals strongly desired.
