Position Title: Lean-Six Sigma Program Manager – Black Belt
Department: Administration

Job Qualifications:
1. Has ability to integrate Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools into work processes.
2. Bachelor's degree required. A master's degree in healthcare, quality management or related field is also preferred.
3. Has at least three – five years of progressive leadership experience.
4. Candidate has a minimum of three to five years of healthcare experience.

Job Summary:
• The Lean/Six Sigma Program Manager/Black Belt is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Lean/Six Sigma process for Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital (YVMH) and its Family of Services (FOS).
• The manager is an experienced expert in the application of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques as well as culture change required to be successful.
• The manager is responsible for assisting in identifying and monitoring YVMH & FOS clinical and non-clinical outcomes using the measurement systems established, including data collection, analysis, correlation and dissemination of information to internal customers.
• The manager has significant experience in application of PDSA, Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques with demonstrated success in leading teams that have accomplished significant process improvements and return on investment.
• Manager must be passionate about quality, have a track record of successfully improving performance, know how to lead transformation of a culture of quality and performance improvement and be a change agent.
• The manager is responsible for searching external databases and using data abstraction tools to produce meaningful analyses and correlation of data in simple, understandable graphic format for internal YVMH & FOS customers.
• Achieves a demonstrated ROI for projects completed and as a measured result of training in Lean-Six Sigma tools and methods.
