Qualifications: 
  • 4 year college degree; Business, Information Systems (IS, MIS, or CIS), Computer Science or similar majors preferred
  • Desired technical skills; MS Excel, MS Access, Understanding of basic ODBC concepts
  • Programming Knowledge; Advanced SQL (required), Advanced VBA for MS Office, Basic SAS (Data step, Proc SQL and Macro language)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-3 years relevant experience; healthcare / pharmaceutical / programming / consulting field a plus
  • Knowledge of the prescription benefit management business and business model a plus

Supports the development, enhancement, and maintenance of proprietary modeling and reporting capabilities (EXPERxT and EXPERxT Advisor).

  • Assessing needs and contributing to the development of new models and reports in support of application users and the business
  • Performing day to day application development and maintenance
  • Coordinating and leading quality assurance testing activities, including the creation and execution of test plans and participation in monthly application releases
  • Researching and resolving application user questions and issues
  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing utilization trends from user activity
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure consistency, accuracy, and organizational alignment with models and reports owned by other groups and product teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining cross functional relationships with end users, product owners, subject matter experts, and IT
  • Contributing to the convergence of EXPERxT and EXPERxT Advisor®
  • Interfacing with Information Technology and Development Teams
