Teradata is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a high level of organizational and interpersonal
skills, flexibility to cope with change, and ability to multitask
across a variety of assignments.
• Self motivated team player able to work both independently and

Job Responsibilities/Summary:
This person will be responsible for providing hands on fulfillment of
data reporting and backend performance analysis focused on driving
successful marketing communication and member engagement initiatives.
The role will be primarily focused on a single line of products or
campaigns, but will assume responsibility for ensuring all project work
is in support of the overall strategic analytic vision for the
Marketing Organization.
The ideal person will be capable of exploring, understanding, and
contributing to product/program goals, through the use of data
programming/manipulation and campaign analysis. The analyst should be
able to interpret and communicate results in a manner that conveys
value and is easily understood by key stakeholders and/or
product/program owners. Responsibilities will include ETL, data
validation, and basic backend analysis.
Specifically, this person will be responsible for creation of SQL
queries to be run against enterprise Data Warehouses (currently
Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server), where adherence to corporate best
practices and coding standards will be expected. Requirements will
often include additional manipulation of query results to further
prepare data for ongoing or subsequent analysis. Key areas of focus
will be on the development of outcomes/performance reporting (e.g.,
response analysis) for each of the supported business lines, including
responsibility for gathering requirements from the respective business
owners. This individual will also be expected to work with business
partners to identify data validation requirements and then execute data
audit/validation steps to ensure data accuracy and integrity before
delivery of analysis.
This position will report to the Marketing Database Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct data mining and member profiling to
extract actionable insights to be used in identifying new market
opportunities, improving campaign performance, increasing conversion
rates, and optimizing LTV.
• Analyze customer behavior across multiple dimensions in support
of developing relevant and meaningful member segments for targeted
campaigns.
• Enhance the development of customized member segments and
behavioral profiling through the combined use of internal eligibility
& transaction data with 3rd party demographics, segmentation
schemes, and other external data elements.
• Analyze campaign effectiveness through the generation of
tracking, reporting, and backend campaign analysis results; participate
in the interpretation of results and determination of appropriate next
steps.
• File preparation and support for the development,
implementation, maintenance, and testing of predictive models using
SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, Affinium Model, and/or other analysis tool.
