PCA, founded in 1992 and located in Newton, MA, focuses on delivering Custom Smart Client Internet Database Software Solutions to a wide variety of businesses.  PCA is a small and rapidly growing company.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to create custom business applications and learn about web database development at a successful application development company.  PCA has developed and successfully deployed hundreds of custom software application that support Real-Time, OnDemand Computing for a wide variety of Market Segments -- Manufacturing, Retail, Insurance/Financial, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Construction, Publishing, Legal and Education -- and a wide variety of Business Applications, including: complex product and service data management, distribution, manufacturing resource planning, sales force automation, customer relationship management, business process/inventory control, safety tracking, product lifecycle management, human resource management, patient records management and HIPPA compliance, financial analysis, reporting, and SarbOx compliance, direct marketing, educational instructional management (the list goes on). If the business application exists, chances are real good that we've touched it already in some meaningful way. If the application doesn't yet exist, chances are also good that we're thinking about it.

You will immediately be given challenging projects to work on. You will learn to overcome many business challenges associated with creating highly customized web-enabled database solutions. You will be directly exposed to both the fun and the tedium of running a growing business. The ideal candidate is: detail-oriented, efficient, quick-study, good communicator, and has the practical ability to initiate and get things done. You must have knowledge of programming (either procedural or object oriented). Programming in Windows experience a plus.

Best candidate would demonstrate knowledge or experience in C or C++, MS Access Basic coding or Visual Basic coding. The following experience, however limited, also a plus: SQL Server, any relational database application development experience SQL, xBase, Active X, Java, C. You must be able to DESIGN SUPERIOR UI*s that are simple, elegant and professional looking. Compensation and benefits is completely merit based, and highly competitive.
