Senior Analyst, Operations Performance & Statistics
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:  Analyze airline operations by developing, maintaining, and enhancing statistical and business models. Develop and produce reports and presentations on operational performance for distribution company-wide. Coordinate with sales, finance, corp. communications, operational groups, and the rest of the organization on information needs. Investigate and implement automation in reporting and data extraction methods. Support strategic direction for enterprise wide performance information solutions. Act as an owner of airline performance data, serving as main contact point for operational data requests and statistical analyses. Develop competitive industry studies, key performance metrics, and historical references for presentation to Sr. Management. Complete and coordinate with multiple departments on a variety of ad-hoc data needs.

Requirements:
MBA in Finance or Master s Degree in other related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience/training·Advanced aptitude in problem-solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework; excellent analytical thinking abilities·Ability to negotiate and communicate proficiently with all levels of management·Excellent written and verbal communication skills·Strong PC skills in MS Office applications (MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint.)·Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations·Adaptability and flexibility in use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial and operational issues·Experience with automation (VBA, forms, macros, scheduler, etc.) and data extraction tools (SQL, SAS, etc.)·Some proficiency in specific mainframe systems a plus (e.g. Mapper)).
