Responsibilities:
This individual will take a leadership role in the
evaluation, proposal, development, and maintenance of computer software
systems and programs to meet end user needs. This individual will be
responsible for: the analysis of business problems, project scope and
definition, system design, development, testing, application training,
and implementation. Primary area of responsibility will be working with
SAP R/3 4.7. The desired candidate will provide analytical
leadership to project teams in multiple locations.
Responsibilities will also include providing guidance and assistance to
less experienced staff members, having regular and frequent
communication and contact with internal customers and advising
department management of project status.
Key areas of responsibility include: 1. Analyzing business
requirements, establishing project scope and definition, and
formulating functional design, 2. Analyzing and resolving day to
day issues focused in the Plan-to-Manufacture process area of SAP,
3. Responsible for writing functional and technical
specifications for changes requested, 4. Working with and
assisting with directing onshore and offshore IS development teams to
meet proposed target dates, 5. Developing test scenarios - from
unit testing through integration testing, 6. Explore/recommend
additional functionality within SAP's Plan-to-Manufacture area,
7. Support plant requirements (questions, issues, training,
etc.), 8. Developing Application Training programs as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Strong experience in enterprise resource planning
(ERP) systems, particularly SAP's production planning, plant
maintenance, quality management, materials management and sales and
distribution modules, is required. Primary responsibility will be
in the production planning and plant maintenance areas of SAP.
Strong emphasis on meeting deadlines and working under pressure while
delivering high quality work. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, decision making skills and project leadership
skills in addition to the ability to work independently and manage
multiple priorities are essential. Knowledge of Six Sigma,
business process modeling and business process flow diagramming is a
plus. Knowledge of end-user query tools, CATT, LSMW and Solution
Manager is also a plus. Some travel required. 10+ years of
related experience.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management
Information Systems or related field with Master of Science or Master
of Business Administration degree preferred.
