The
University HealthSystem Consortium, an alliance of more than 100 academic
health centers, has an opening for an Analyst in the Operational Data Base
(ODB) Program working with internal staff and our members in the interpretation
and use of ACTION O-I® data.
The
successful candidate will be responsible for data extraction and preparation,
interpretation, and related analyses for the ODB Program. The goal is to assist
in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of operational data to be
converted into actionable information. The position extracts, develops and
prepares internal and external reports, conducts descriptive and inferential
analyses, and develops presentations for internal as well as external audiences.
The
successful candidate will have 2+ years of health care operations data analysis
and performance improvement experience. A bachelor degree in an analytic and/or
health care field is required. A Master's degree with an emphasis in Business
or Health Care is desirable and important for career development and growth.
Must be a proficient analytic thinker with some experience managing and/or
analyzing operational data. Strong oral and written communication skills
required. Able to learn quickly and manage many projects simultaneously.
Experience with Access, Excel, and PowerPoint required. ACTION O-I or related
knowledge is beneficial, but not required. Must be self-motivated, independent
thinker, creative, and possess good communication skills.
