Business Analyst, Client Services, Health Market Science, King of Prussia, PA
Position: Business Analyst, Client Services
Reports to: Manager, Client Services
As a member of the Client Services team, the
Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between customers and the
Client Services developers. The Business Analyst is responsible for the
successful delivery of client projects, which includes gathering and
documenting requirements, compiling and managing the project plan and
testing the product to ensure that it meets the spec before shipment.
In addition, the Client Services Business Analyst will be responsible
for developing and maintaining updated client and internal procedural
documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- For new projects, the Client Business Analyst will be
responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements and
reviewing them with the various business groups to ensure that the
requirements are met
- The individual will be responsible for refining
client requirements documents and translating them into client delivery
work plans with the assigned developer
- Partner with Client Services, Operations and Product
Development to identify requirements for new data sources and / or new
products
- Managing Client Services project plans to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Ability to interpret and understand complex business procedures, and make recommended improvements to the existing processes
- Survey internal clients for prevailing business practices and procedures necessary to ensure proper process development
- Manage communication to and from internal clients and development staff about project status and clarification of requests
- Develop ad hoc reports to support Client Services and to assess quality of product delivery
- Manage and effectively communicate risks associated with the projects and take appropriate measures to address them
- Completion of any other duties as assigned by the company from time-to-time
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to solve diverse problems
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Access and MS Project
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical marketing information and/or healthcare claims data
- College Degree
