Industrial Application Engineer, PMC, Dearborn, MI

analytical and computer abilities, plus outstanding communication and
teamwork skills for multiple positions in engineering, software
development, and implementation.
Industrial (Applications) Engineer
JOB DUTIES:
To work in Michigan and various unanticipated
locations throughout the United States. Duties: Under close
supervision, plan, schedule and coordinate phases of project work.
Develop, design criteria and methods with client input for application
and manufacturing systems. Collect and analyze data from manufacturing
systems at the plant floor. Write systems specifications and design
documents. Validate and analyze simulation models for manufacturing
systems, including material handling systems and human operations.
Utilize computer-generated data to develop tailored software for
various applications and business functions using AutoMod, AutoCAD and
Minitab. Perform statistical analysis using spreadsheets and
statistical packages. Develop and present simulation results to
engineers. Develop benchmarking studies to compare
simulation, scheduling, supply chain and material flow analysis
software. Perform technical presentations in applications of Lean
Manufacturing and scheduling to support Sales activities. Interact with
management to explain production/development process; respond to
questions/ comments and modify procedures to address concerns raised.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or
related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education,
training, or experience. 40/hrs/week, 8 AM-5:00PM.
