Industrial Engineer, PMC, Dearborn, MI

analytical and computer abilities, plus outstanding communication and
teamwork skills for multiple positions in engineering, software
development, and implementation.
Industrial Engineer
JOB DUTIES:
As part of a team, fine-tune and improve a variety
of sophisticated industrial control procedures. Design and analyze
manufacturing systems. Plan utilization of facilities, equipment,
materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations. Use lean
manufacturing concepts to reduce waste. Establish work measurement
programs and analyze work samples to develop standards. Review
statistical process control information in plant and provide update
charts to all chartered processes. Identify quality problems generated
by processes incompatible with current systems. Develop and use
reporting systems to communicate quality information throughout the
organizations. Interact with management and respond to questions,
comments and criticisms and unanticipated engineering anomalies. Travel
and/or relocation required. Use of AutoMod, AutoCAD, Minitab.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or
related field. Plus 1 year in the job offered or 1 year in a related
occupation including Industrial Engineer, Simulation Engineer, or
related experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education,
training or experience. 40/hrs/week, 8 AM-5:00PM.
