Baptist Medical Center,
a 564-bed medical center located in Jackson, Mississippi, seeks a
management engineering professional with broad hospital / healthcare
experience including Project management, process improvement, cost
reduction and group facilitation skills. BSIE required, with 3 -5
years healthcare related experience. The preferred candidate
must: 1) be capable of working with limited supervision on a broad
range of projects in a variety of settings ; 2) be highly proficient in
the use of intermediate and advanced functions of standard Microsoft
Office Suite programs, basic statistical process control graphing, and
project management applications; 3) demonstrate the ability to present
information orally and in writing so that an intended purposed is
achieved; 4) be knowledgeable and experienced in the application of
LEAN process reviews and Six Sigma principles.
This position reports to the Administrative Director of Quality Services.
