Operations - North America Manufacturing/Service Operations Analyst
Overview: McKinsey's Operations Business Analyst program is
designed specifically for high potential individuals interested in
learning world-class operations productivity tools and their
application. During this program, Analysts spend most of their time
apprenticing and consulting on structured client projects, supplemented
with regular classroom instruction on operational concepts. Upon
successful completion of the program, Analysts become Associates in
McKinsey’s Operations Practice.
Detailed Description: Operations Analysts will undergo an
intense two-year training and apprenticeship program that will segue
into an Associate position within McKinsey’s Operations
consulting practice. Associates work globally with senior clients to
transform their organizations in industries as diverse as automotive
assembly, consumer goods, retail trade, engineering and construction,
and finance.

* Desire to pursue an operations consultant role in McKinsey's Operations Practice
* Please note that we require both local language and English language
fluency for all positions in countries where English is not the native
language.
Background/Training: Education
Undergraduate degree required
* Masters degree (non-MBA) with a concentration in Operations strongly preferred
* Strong record of academic achievement required
* Significant operations course work preferred
Background/Skills/Knowledge
* 2-4 years of work experience in an operations
improvement/analysis function in a major manufacturing or service
operations environment
* Demonstrated broad-based business perspective across operations topics
* Direct experience within operations, manufacturing or service operations
Other:
A two year commitment in Orange County, CA or
Atlanta, Georgia is required for this position. Analysts will have the
ability to transfer to select office locations after successful
completion of training. This position is not available for
current undergraduates.
