Job Description:
Managers provide day to day management of projects, as well as hands-on functional /technical experience to Higher Education and Academic Medical Center clients. Will work with other Huron and client team members through the entire implementation lifecycle, including strategy, planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go live, and post production support. Responsibilities will include:
• Project management;
• Identification of business intelligence needs;
• BI software selection and implementation;
• Reporting / analytics design;
• Test script identification/execution;
• Change management planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have proven project management skills; good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills and experience facilitating group meetings and interview sessions; strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams; a positive and professional attitude; and a desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.

Job Requirements:
• Experience with end-to-end business intelligence / data warehouse implementations using one or more of the tools below
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following tools: Oracle / PeopleSoft EPM; Oracle / Hyperion; Oracle Business Intelligence (Siebel Analytics); Cognos; Business Objects; Informatica; IBM / Ascential
• Ability to translate business needs into workable technology solutions;
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration;
• The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism;
• The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions;
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills;
• The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.
• Familiarity with commonly used source systems in higher education and healthcare (e.g. PeopleSoft, Lawson, Banner) a plus.

This position requires significant travel.
