Description
Working in our Web Publishing Technologies group as an Application
Support Associate, you will provide a number of services and duties
around application services. Your primary responsibilities
will
include handling of user support requests (e.g. the Portal,
Wiley’s intranet). This will entail the recording, tracking, resolution, and escalation, where applicable, of
WPT application-based user queries and issues. Other
responsibilities can include application training, the creation of
training materials, quality assurance testing, data analysis, and the
evaluation of user satisfaction and acceptance.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft
Windows, Macintosh OS, and LINUX platforms.
- Knowledge of web browsers (Safari, Internet
Explorer, Mozilla).
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML are required.
- Some experience with Flash, CSS, RoboHelp, and
SQL (MS SQL, ORACLE) preferable.
- Programming familiarity with Javascript,
JAVA/JSP, PHP, and Perl also preferred.
