Business Analyst - Strategic Accounts, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), Franklin Lakes, NJ
Title: Business Analyst, Strategic Accounts – FIN10014
The Business Analyst, Strategic Accounts position
reports directly to the Director, Business Analytics and U.S. Sales
Operations. This position provides sales performance reporting and
financial analysis to the Strategic Account Selling Organization for
Integrated Delivery Hospital Networks (IDNs).
Specific responsibilities include monthly and
quarterly sales performance reporting and analysis; extensive ad hoc
analyses for 15 Strategic Account Sales Managers, Director of Business
Analytics, Business Integrators, as well as other internal customers;
quarterly calculation of variable compensation; sales plan budget
development; analytical support for bid responses; contract review;
customer fee and incentive calculations and related accruals;
participation on IDN Direct Customer Account teams, and oversight of
IDN account membership accuracy. Also provides direct
analytical support and special project work for the Sr. Director,
Strategic Account Selling Organization.
Qualifications
- B.A. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Four to six years accounting/financial analysis or related finance/business experience.
- Highly advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
and Access; sales reporting experience preferred; SAP Sales Module
experience a plus.
- Ability to develop databases and navigate through a very high volume of complex data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and customer focus. Need to be detail-oriented yet work at a fast pace.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use and development
of financial models and what-if scenarios and recommended business
strategies.
- Understanding of business operations including contracts, membership, rebates, customers, products, etc. a plus.
