Supply Chain Planning Process Leader, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), Franklin Lakes, NJ
Title: Supply Chain Planning Process Leader – SUP0001H
Description
Lead individual for the SAP/APO functional area (demand
and supply planning). Proactively drives continuous improvement as it
relates to SAP/APO and the business Supply Chain Planning (SCP)
process. Acts as the Departmental Super User for Demand Planning,
Supply Network Planning and Business Warehouse. Provides analytical
business support for the Department.
Work with SAP/APO users in Franklin Lakes and the Manufacturing
Locations to identify gaps in capability vs.system usage. Works with
indivdule Planners to improve their knowledge of SAP/APO.
Work towards driving world class system utilization and optimization.
This involves working with PAS Regional Planners in an effort to ensure
all current Planning practices conform to the BDX Global design and are
yeilding expected business results. Acts as a process/system knowledge
resource for the SNP/DP global community, including the sharing of
“best practices”.
Provides Business Analytics related to Demand and Supply Planning. This
involves creating and building custom querries designed to analyse
trends in product demand, manufacturing requirements and other Supply
Chain related issues/needs.
Participates on or leads projects at the direction of the Logistics Manager.
Acts as the PAS technical resource for Corporate Supply Chain chain
projects e.g. state moves, system upgrade, adding or changing network
DC's.
This person acts as a test resource for System development, new
releases and change tickets, in addition to training new hires and new
functionality. This includes developing training aids where applicable.
Establish processes for maintaining/reviewing the master data
associated with Supply and Demand Planning. This includes but is not
limited to Target Days Supply, Transportation Lead Times, etc.
Acts as the communication conduit into and out of the organization for
the Supply and Demand Planning functional areas, keeping
management and associates informed of sysytem related
issues.
Participates in Sales and Operations Planning Process. In particular,
the development and maintenance of tools designed to "roll-up" Global
Supply and Demand for Management review

Qualifications
* BS/BA with a concentration in Logistics,
Operations Management, Finance, Engineering or Management Information
Systems. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
* APICS Certification preferred
* 2 - 4 years experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning.
* Strong analytical skills, advanced PC skills, good presentation skills, ability to train others.
* Working knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning, Lean Principles, Six Sigma
