Senior Direct Marketing Specialist -- EMEA
Cambridge, MA

Forrester Research seeks a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to define, execute, and direct the marketing activities to generate high-quality leads that ensure the achievement of bookings commitments of our 300+ Global sales organization. The Senior Direct Marketing Specialist reports to the Director, Marketing Programs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage global lead generation and client retention direct marketing campaigns including campaign creation, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop smart targeting strategies through appropriate segmentation.
- Drive direct marketing innovation, such as lead nurturing, automated life-cycle messaging and trigger-based, automated email programs.
- Lead project-related relationships with vendors such as print and mail house, lead generation companies, list brokers, and creative agencies.
- Act as campaign liaison, interacting with various internal clients to ensure campaigns are kept on schedule and on target.
- Utilize past experience to increase campaign effectiveness and improve campaign results.
- Proactively communicate internally, particularly to the sales force before, during, and after all major programs, to gain input, build trust, and increase effectiveness.
- Act as team leader to provide guidance and support to the team.
- Aid in the governance of Forrester?s global contact management rules.

Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent in marketing, communication, or business.
- A minimum of four years of direct marketing experience working in the B2B industry.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices in strategy, deliverability and creative templates and experience working with external e-mail service providers.
- Demonstrated success with programs that increased customer usage, loyalty, and new-client acquisition.
- Good analytical and 'what-if' abilities -- drawing conclusions from data, developing multiple scenarios, and thinking rationally about programmatic solutions.
- Proficiency with Siebel or other CRM system.
- Track record of strong teamwork.
- Organized, ambitious with a hands-on attitude, demonstrated willingness to tackle projects, and impeccable follow-through on commitments.
- Must be a quick, eager, and self-directed learner.
