Human Resources Generalist/Strategic Growth Consultant
Cambridge, Mass

Description:
As a business partner, the Strategic Growth
Consultant will support and enhance the corporate culture while
providing human resources and consulting services to the employees and
leaders in Forrester?s client groups. The strategic growth/human
resources philosophy is to partner with the client departments to focus
on selecting, developing, and retaining employees as well as managing
employee relations. The strategic growth team works in a collaborative
manner with the goal of providing top-quality service to its internal
client base.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with managers to develop and drive
human resource activities and processes that support business
initiatives. Provide strategic and operation HR leadership on a variety
of HR and business-related projects. Offer input on decisions that
require sound HR practices and perspectives.
* Collaborate with managers to identify headcount strategy and needs.
Advise managers on headcount planning and promotion/salary planning.
* Advise managers on employee relations and performance management
practices. Drive strategic growth processes within the organization,
such as the annual competency benchmark and talent review process.
* Counsel employees regarding work-related issues and career path. Respond to HR-related inquiries from employee base.
* Review and analyze data related to employee headcount, terminations,
on-boarding/ramping, and compensation to identify trends and recommend
strategies for improvement.
* Work with managers and the learning and growth team to assess the
development needs of the staff and develop appropriate training and
development road maps to meet those needs.
* Collaborate with all HR functions, including recruiting, benefits,
training, and compensation, to effectively and efficiently support the
employee base.
* B.A./B.S. with five to eight years of relevant HR experience
* Demonstrated record of success in partnering with the business to drive business results
* Proven success managing employee relations programs, plus the ability to coach and advise managers
* Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to execute on complex business initiatives
* Ability to build rapport with internal clients and external candidates
* Executive-level communication skills
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
* Strong analytical skills and ability to think systematically
* Demonstrated project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated effective delivery on shifting and simultaneous priorities
* The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, handle a multitude of tasks, and adapt to change
* Global and management experience a plus
* Discretion around sensitive company information

Title: Principal Quality Engineer, New Product Development, Medical Devices – QUA10061
Description
The Principal Quality Engineer will participate in
or lead medical device design and development planning, develop design
input, design output activities, Design History File management, design
transfer activities, change management and design reviews.
Prepare and review design verification and design validation
documentation. Prepare and review risk management
documentation. Review and approve product documentation and
drawings for medical devices. Support process development and
validation activities and assist with test method validations.
Support and coordinate Sterilization Studies, Shelf life studies and
Biocompatibility Studies. Use statistical tools including Minitab
software and analyzes data. Serve as a quality representative on
one or more project teams engaged in new product development for
medical devices. Responsible for assuring that each project is
developed and released meeting customer expectations, regulatory
requirements including 21CFR820, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDD
93/42/EEC and ISO 10993.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or
Engineering + four (4) years experience in job offered or four (4)
years experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or any other job title
performing all listed job duties. Master’s degree can be
substituted for six (6) months experience. Must have legal proof
to work in the United States.
