Six Sigma Black BeltStratasys, Inc.Eden Prairie, MN


Summary:  The Six Sigma Black Belt position will report to the Vice President of Process Improvement and be responsible to drive Six Sigma tools/methodology into high impact projects, focused on eliminating process variation and waste. Successful candidate will lead and complete at least 4 major Green Belt projects while mentoring and coaching Green Belt trained project team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
• This Six Sigma Black Belt position is responsible for leading Six Sigma projects to improve business performance in alignment with key corporate strategic objectives.
• Working with company leaders, system experts, and customers; candidate will lead and/or participate in key initiatives to drive improvement efforts/projects across the company.
• Drive culture change to instill focus on fact based management practices.
• Project management responsibilities include developing, executing, and sustaining, effective process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• BS in Engineering discipline with 8+ years relevant work experience.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Must possess excellent data analysis skills, experience in the implementation of change initiatives, workflow simplification, process improvement, and project management.
• Hands on working knowledge of DMAIC process.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Execution oriented, with a strong sense of urgency around tangible results.
• Able to demonstrate leadership without formal authority and foster cross-team learning and team building skills.
• Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills.
• Work well in a team environment with sound negotiation and issue resolution skills.
• Candidate must be a demonstrated strong change agent with polished interpersonal skills. Highly energetic, demonstrate solid analytical skills, and possess a process mind-set.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:
• Some travel will be required as Six Sigma initiatives expand to the international level.

Financial Reporting Analyst, Stratasys, Inc.Eden Prairie, MN


Financial Reporting Analyst (08-101)
Summary:  This position’s main responsibilities will be: 1) Participate in the monthly accounting close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records; 2) Perform moderately complex accounting, financial reporting and analysis functions; 3) Ensure work is in compliance with documented SOX 404 procedures and controls; and 4) Perform technical accounting research.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
• Prepares and reviews periodic financial statements for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting that meets the rigorous standards for accuracy and timeliness required by a public company.
• Supports internal Business Leaders by meeting their financial reporting needs.
• Supports a cultural of continuous improvement in day-to-day activities.
• Participates in the development of new reports, metrics, and processes to ensure that critical information needed to drive the business is available at the appropriate levels within the company.
• Participates in the upgrade of existing planning / reporting tools and applications.
• Designs, documents and implements reports using available ad-hoc reporting tools (Essbase, SQL, Crystal reports, general ledger reports etc.)
• Investigate and understand key business issues behind the numbers, and provide clear, concise, and timely analyses and recommendations.  Identify risks and opportunities in financial trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of four years experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Accounting degree and CPA designation (required).
• Prior SEC reporting experience (preferred).
• Minimum of two years experience public accounting (preferred).
• Proficiency in extracting and analyzing data from various independent information systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Access.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good communication skills.
