QA analyst will be responsible for complex and highly integrated
software systems that are internally developed in a fast-paced
development environment. Requirements or use cases may be basic or
advanced. Analyst must be very experienced at deriving testable
requirements rapidly under less than ideal conditions. Analyst must be
very experienced at developing test strategies, detailed test plans,
test cases, test data, test coverage, test execution, and reporting
status to multiple Project Managers. Senior level experience with
formal QA methodology through all stages of the SDLC is required, along
with experience determining what to optimize for an aggressive schedule
without violating the integrity of a test. Ability to prioritize and
multi task is critical. Ability to work in a team environment among
others with multiple competing and shifting priorities is critical.
Analyst should have the ability to see the high level picture in
testing a product and find loop holes where the product has not been
tested or where the product*s code violates the spirit and/or the
documented letter of the design and requirements. Experience in test
effort estimation would be a plus. Experience leading testing teams
while participating in the test execution or working as a *test team of
one* would be ideal. Analyst should be a self-starter capable of
working independently, solving and analyzing problems as they occur.
Analyst should be an advocate for quality and the customer.
Communications skills are extremely important to this position.
Candidate must be able to clearly communicate in English both verbally
and in writing. Comprehension in English is also paramount. Should be
experienced testing applications that work with DB2 and/or Oracle, web
technologies, UNIX, Java applications, and basic SQL skills. Plusses
would be Mainframe, Tibco/MQ, UC4, Test Partner, QA Director,
ClearCase, RequisitePro, and ClearQuest experience. Java TIBCO

Assurance Web technologies Tibco RV / MQ messaging JSP, JDBC based
