The Opportunity:
Working under general management and with a high level
of technical creativity, develops comprehensive approaches to meeting the
technical Quality objectives, including customer technical system analysis,
interaction with customers, sales, marketing, R&D and MFG to effectively
resolve customer claims.
Design and implement process quality measures and
systems to ensure product quality during design and MFG. phases. Designing and
installing quality control process sampling systems, procedures and statistical
techniques. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and
equipment.
Recommends revision of specifications when indicated. Formulates
or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures. Develops the
economics of any quality control program when required. Viewed as company expert
in specific functional area.
Requirements:
BS in
Engineering(Electrical Engineers are preferred)with 4-6+ years experience or MS
with 2-4+ years experience in a similar environment. Six Sigma, 8D and Lean
training are desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication since
this position will be in contact with customers as well as internal key function
heads. Have to be a strong trouble shooter who will identify root causes and
implement soloutions.
