DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with cross-functional teams to identify and implement most effective and efficient logistics process improvements.

Conducts cross-functional meetings in support of initiatives to develop key measures of success and monitor performance against these measures. Develops and maintains Optimized Labor Performance system and standard operating procedures for resident CFC. Works with resident operations team to develop labor reporting. Performs work measurement analysis using time studies or predetermined motion time systems to develop optimal process. Generates process layouts to facilitate best practices in all areas. Develops and documents “Standard Cost Data” for use in process improvement analysis. Performs cost-benefit analysis to evaluate financial feasibility of potential process improvements. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Required Skills:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering is required. 0 - 2 years engineering experience in a distribution environment required.

SKILLS: Familiar in implementing and maintaining work measurement systems and working with labor reporting systems. Excellent data manipulation skills are required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are required. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks. Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access is required. AutoCAD capability is preferred.

MISCELLANEOUS: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel are required.

Required Skills:

Works cross functionally with the MSC E-Commerce, Marketing Services, Call Center, and Branch teams to develop and implement marketing projects that transition traditional call center business to the MSCdirect.com. Drives the execution of project plans effectively across all departments (Marketing, Sales, Product, Advertising, E-Commerce). Facilitates the flow of multiple projects, while managing resources on a daily basis for all assigned projects. Manages, tracks, supports, and evaluates the success of
implemented projects. Adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness. Understands and interprets corporate goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced and timelines established in a cost effective manner. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Required Skills

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 5 years experience in a Marketing or Business Consultant role is required. A minimum of 3 years in project management role is preferred.

SKILLS: Ability to lead cross-functional teams is required. Strong analytical abilities including the ability to analyze current business trends, issues,

Drives MSC brand awareness in specific customer segments by analyzing and refining the use of MSC direct marketing to drive brand awareness in the segment. Develops and implements new programs where gaps in strategy exist. This is inclusive of but not limited to direct mail, e-mail, internet presence, tradeshows, publications, and associations. Responsible for ensuring that all marketing pieces and sales force collateral, as well as product offering and merchandising, are designed to
effectively target the segment through close interaction with Product and Marketing Management Teams. Assists Sales Management in the account planning process including the coordination of National Accounts team, Government team, Customer Solutions, field sales, branches, and call centers. Identifies and drives near-term best practice opportunities across the broader organization. Frequent personal contact with customers is necessary Travel is required (minimum travel requirement is roughly 35-40. Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined by the MSC Code of Conduct.
