Job description
The Healthcare Informatics team at IBM's Almaden
Research Center is looking for PhD level researchers with analytic
skills in the area of healthcare informatics. Specific skills include:
medical image analysis, data mining of health data, bio-statistics,
epidemiological modeling, text analysis of clinical documents or other
analytic and modeling disciplines appropriate for understanding
clinical data. Good programming skills in Java, some experience with
databases, content management systems and other middleware systems,
knowledge of common medical application systems, experience with
analytic systems like SAS, MatLab are all desirable skills. Our work
includes building healthcare data analytical systems, applications and
tools, usually with academic or industry partners, to deliver
technology for IBM's HealthCare Business, related brands or granting
agencies.
Major Field of Study: Healthcare Informatics, Medical Imaging, Bio-statistics
Skills: Epidemiology/Public Health healthcare informatics, Data
analysis, Java programming, Middleware experience, Analytical tool

At least 2 years experience in medical image analysis
