Schlumberger Business Consulting (SBC) is the management consulting arm of
Schlumberger and the fastest growing oil and gas (O&G) management
consultancy.

Principals/Partners positions worldwide.

Junior and Senior Business Consultants
You will be working as part of a
close-knit consulting team delivering projects on a global basis. You will be
interacting closely with clients and other team members, helping us to develop
our expertise. You will need to demonstrate analytical skills, and familiarity
with organizational and process issues.
You have a university degree in
Business or Engineering—typically an MA, MSc, MBA or PhD. For senior consultant
positions you also have two to four years of business consulting experience in
an international firm and/or equivalent experience in the industry—preferably in
O&G exploration and production.

Manager
As an experienced consultant, you will be trusted to manage one
(or two when senior) consulting engagement team(s), under the supervision of a
Principal. Most of your time will be spent working directly on projects for
clients globally. This will include day-to-day interactions and communication
with clients, people development and coaching team members, and ensuring that
projects remain on track in terms of goals and quality.
You will also be
asked to get involved in business development initiatives and contribute to
developing SBC's intellectual capital. Your skills are likely to include
business impact analysis, business process re-engineering, business
transformation, technology assessments and strategy, as well as strong people
and project management capabilities. You have a university degree in Business or
Engineering—typically an MA, MSc, MBA or PhD—and four to six years of business
consulting experience in an international firm and/or equivalent experience in
the industry—preferably in O&G exploration and production.

Principal /Partner
Your mission will be to develop client activity,
supervise the teams that deliver our services, and manage client interactions
under the supervision of the Director of the Area.
You will develop
strong relationships with specific clients: understanding the full extent of
their consulting needs and becoming their key point of contact with SBC, whilst
spending around half your time directly on client assignments. At the same time,
you will also be helping SBC to grow our horizontal consulting practices,
developing teams of practice members and providing support to other practice
areas.
A proven leader and project manager, you will have extensive
consulting skills and the ability to develop and run a business consulting
practice from a small base.
You have a university degree in Business or
Engineering—typically an MA, MSc, MBA or PhD—and six to ten years of business
consulting experience in an international firm (having ideally reached
Principal/Partner level), as well as four to six years experience in the O&G
industry—preferably in exploration and production.
