Senior Software Engineer, iGrafx, Tualatin, Oregon
Senior Software Engineer
We're looking for a senior software engineer with a
demonstrable track record of producing high-quality software and a
commitment as a team member to do what it takes to achieve group goals
and agreed upon deadlines. This opportunity at iGrafx, a division of
Corel Inc. is located in Tualatin, Oregon.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or the equivalent work experience.
2. A minimum of 5 years development experience; project management or leadership a plus.
3. Demonstrable expertise in C++, MFC, COM and Windows SDK programming.
4. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
5. Ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will be working with various teams on multiple
projects to help develop next-generation enterprise level software
tools and will be involved in all phases of the project. For a
candidate to be successful, expertise and/or experience in one or more
of the following is required:
1. Database systems; specifically Oracle and SQL Server
2. Windows security and network programming, especially related to LDAP and Active Directory technologies.
3. Web Application & Portal technology; i.e., IIS, ASP, ASP.NET, Java/Java Script, Software as a Service.
4. BPM Execution system integration; i.e., XML, XPDL, BPMN, BPEL
5. ERP systems; i.e., SAP, Oracle
6. Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) methodologies; i.e., Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Risk Management, Balanced Scorecard
7. Enterprise/IT Methodologies; i.e., ITSM, Enterprise Architecture, DoDAF, eTOM, etc.
8. Process Methodologies; i.e., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO (considered an asset)
