*Engineering Analyst: An Industrial Engineering graduate would
be perfect for this role. This is a tremendous opportunity for an
IE fresh out of college or graduate school to earn great hands-on
experience while working with 2 other Premier "Performance Engineers"
and a Director of Engineering. We are currently looking for an IE
graduate or "Engineering Analyst" to work with one of Dallas's most
prestigious healthcare systems among the Plano, Dallas, Fort Worth
area. This position is a wonderful stepping stone into Premier's
engineering program. The analyst will provide resource support to the
engineers, helping to support process-improvement s within the
healthcare system, etc. Must have an IE degree and have
exceptional analytical skills!
*2 Performance Engineers: (Must have hospital or healthcare experience)- We
are looking for 2 "Performance Engineers" to work with one of Dallas's
most prestigious healthcare systems among the Plano, Dallas, Fort Worth
area. The purpose of this job is to provide workflow and resource
productivity consultation to Premier Informatics customers. Develops
labor budget and determines resources needs, availability, and
financial impact utilizing Premier’s comparative hospital
database. This position works closely with hospital CFO and department
heads and internally with the Data Warehouse team and other internal
and external stakeholders as needed. This position requires travel to
local hospitals and onsite accessibility to financial and IS personnel
as well as the hospital’s department managers. Analyze labor
utilization data and comparative information regarding staffing levels
as it relates to profitability and cost; Develop recommendations for
labor budget and staffing allocation; Provide workflow and resource
allocation recommendations that help customer meet Premier’s
comparative data benchmarks; provide clinical process improvement
support ; Conduct productivity analysis utilizing Premier’s
operational comparative data; conduct resource utilization, length of
stay, cost per case utilizing clinical comparative data ; Facilitate
client problem solving sessions ; etc./ Required Skills: A Bachelor's
degree (BA, BS) required in industrial engineering or related
discipline Five to seven years experience A minimum of 5 years of
finance and business experience required. Hospital or Healthcare
industry experience required. Six Sigma certification preferred;
performance improvement consulting
