Description
In this highly visible role as a Senior QA Engineer at
Micron, you will assume the leading role in developing and establishing
the software qualification plan for the in house storage management
software products supporting flash memory devices on various embedded
OS platforms.
Responsibilities include coordinating testing resources to execute the
qualification plan for available software products and providing
recommendations to grow the QA team as needed. In this role, you
will work with software designers to develop test plans for software
products, as well as plan and setup the required hardware and software
for testing. You will develop and track schedule for testing and
be the key contributor in test cases design and implementation, as well
as being the lead engineer responsible for the execution of planned
test cases, bug tracking, source code control, software releases, and
status reporting. Finally, you will maintain data bases for test
plans, test cases, bug tracking, source code, and releases packages.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have embedded test plan
development and implementation experiences for commercially released
software products. Key experience for consideration includes
‘C’ programming skills, file system testing project,
test case development skills, test case database management, bug
tracking database management, source code control process, and software
release management.
Helpful experience for consideration include familiarity with Microsoft
Embedded Visual C++, Linux scripts, GUI tool (e.g. Visual Studio
tool), working with logic analyzer for hardware level debugging.
Working knowledge for building and running Windows CE, Linux, or Symbian embedded operating system is a plus.
Education: MS/BS Degree, or equivalent.

Description
As a Financial Analyst at Micron, you will provide
financial support for the Memory Product Group (MPG). In this
role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the
following:
Budgeting:
- Coordinate completion of cost center operating expense budgets with domestic and international sites.
- Consolidate cost center budget data to facilitate review and analysis.
- Reporting and explaining monthly budget variances.
Financial Analysis:
- Prepare, analyze and present monthly analysis of financial results to plan.
- Prepare, analyze and present ad-hoc analysis as
required to support Business Unit decisions; to include quantitative
analysis of cost vs. benefits of financial projects, NPV and ROI for
capital spend, etc.
- Support Product Lifecycle Management program with financial analysis as required.
Financial Projections:
- Analyze updates to sales forecasts, production ramps and capital plans and measure the effects on the Plan of Record.
- Drive cross-functional efforts within the Business
Unit to deliver financial projection updates as required by Corporate
Planning.
New Product and Business Support:
- Prepare information for use in the evaluation of proposed business projects, product designs, or acquisitions.
- Develop Excel or COGNOS financial models and pro-forma financial statements to support business decisions.
- Assist with compiling financial inputs for Marketing Requirement Documents and Requests for Quotations.
Operational Reporting:
- Prepare financial metrics fmeasurement against top-level organizational goals.
- Prepare analysis of financial results aor nd report trends for management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Semiconductor or other Manufacturing experience.
- A minimum 5 years financial analysis experience.
- Highly proficiency with Excel and COGNOS.
- Extensive financial and problem-solving experience.
- Proven financial modeling skills.
- Cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Strict attention to details.
- The capability of working under tight deadlines.
- The ability to work independently with distributed resources and contacts.
Education: M.B.A, C.P.A. or C.M.A. credentials and experience are beneficial.
