Quality Assurance Specialist
 
We are seeking a Software QA Analyst to be part of a team in testing our core product, Maple along with our new web deployment applications MapleNet and Maple TA.

The candidate will establish a thorough understanding of our products and be responsible for the following areas:

• Prepare test cases for usability, performance, security and functional testing
• Execute tests on variety of platforms
• Record defects and provide solution-oriented feedback
• Additional responsibilities include interfacing with Technical Support on difficult issues, producing test metrics and reviewing business system updates relating to sales order processing.

Requirements:

• Able to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of web-based client/server applications
• Knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux and Mac OS X operating systems
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Desire to learn new technologies and techniques
• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering
• Previous software testing experience
• Experience with automated testing tools, InstallAnywhere, Merant PVCS Tracker and Maple are an asset.
