As a member of Global Process Excellence (GPE), the Business Process Analyst is involved with the tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modeling, simulating, and analyzing current and future states of business processes.  The Business Process Analyst will be required to work with Program Management Offices (PMOs & PELs), internal and external project managers, as well as others in business operations and functions to define and map various processes, develop appropriate taxonomy and nomenclature, and standardize process definitions, notations and best practices for the organization.  It is anticipated that the Business Process Analyst will be the subject matter expert on Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) and facilitate the seamless management of change for business processes that engage BPM.
 
* Work with GPE and other resources to develop a scalable approach for enhancing business processes to be consistent across the globe, performing continuous reviews to maintain or improve process orchestration as business operations or functions embrace BPM.
* Maintain and utilize the BPM Deployment Toolkit with BPM project teams.
* Assist in defining enterprise technology requirements, identifying changes to process environment, and evaluating software environments.
* Work closely between the process owners and supporting departments (e.g. IT, HR) to define best in class orchestration and share process knowledge.
* Share process knowledge with project teams, process owners, and operations by modeling / simulating different process scenarios, analyzing performance metrics, and utilizing advanced optimization techniques.
*  Conduct research to keep abreast of emerging BPM and BPMS trends and make recommendations about when and how to adopt emerging process standards.

Experience and Educational Guidelines

* 4-year degree required in IT or Engineering.  MBA or Masters equivalent preferred.
* Minimum of two years experience in business process re-engineering (BPR) or Enterprise Architecture (EA).  Experience with business process analysis (BPA) or service oriented architecture (SOA) is a plus.
* Minimum 2 or more years of experience in process design and improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma (participating as a team member or SME).
* Knowledge of business process management systems (BPMS) and companies such as Pegasystems, Metastorm, Lombardi, Software AG, Nimbus, Appian, Savvion, etc.
* Knowledge of SAP or energy industry experience is a plus.

* Produce monthly back-cast report based on actual usage for reconciliation

The Black Belt will lead and coach Lean Six Sigma projects in Global Supply Chain.  As a change agent, the Black Belt will be required to cultivate relationships, influence without authority and establish a support network at all levels to inspire and drive process improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

* Lead high-impact Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement projects.
* Assist Master Black Belt in coaching/mentoring Green Belts and Lean Practitioners on project roles, methodologies and tools.

* Certified Black Belt preferred but will consider candidates with Green Belt certification and significant DMAIC experience.
* Knowledge of advanced statistical/process modeling software such as Minitab, Visio and Crystal Ball.

Master Black Belt will be required to influence and lead Business Partners in the deployment of Process Excellence across multiple methods including BPM, Portfolio/Program/Project Management (PMO),  Lean Six Sigma, etc.  Mentoring Champions in the strategic application of process methods and coaching/leading practitioners in the practical application of methods/tools for project execution are the primary functions of this role.  Specific deliverables include but are not limited to project identification, prioritization, selection, and mentoring for execution.   As a change agent, this MBB will be required to cultivate relationships, be able to influence without authority and establish a network of support at all levels that will inspire and drive process excellence adoption throughout the organization.

* Coordinate and communicate activities that highlight and publicize plans, goals and results.
* Provide assistance and be a resource to Champions, functional departments, and business units in identifying, planning and implementing Process Excellence methods  resulting in significant business improvement.
