Sr Simulations Engineer, Osram Sylvania, Seymour, IN

Description:
Perform thermal and condensation simulations to support product development teams. Develop new algorithms, techniques and computer models for simulations. Write computer programs to enhance our simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Perform thermal and condensation simulations on a variety of products. Visualize and implement new algorithms for specialized applications to improve or extend our market share. Make recommendations to program teams to improve the quality of our products. Improve our design and simulation capabilities by utilizing innovative solutions. Make presentations to internal/ external customers.

Requirements:
BS or higher in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics with an emphasis on Fluid Dynamics or Heat Transfer. Requires a high degree of problem solving, communication and analytical skills. Understanding of multiple CAE software products, vehicle lighting specifications and modern plastic manufacturing methodology. Presentation skills and technical publications are highly desired.

3 years of simulation analysis using CFD or FEA. Programming experience using Fortran, Visual Basic, C, C++. Experience with Fluent, Cosmos, Hypermesh, Ansys desirable.

This is a Full Time position, not entry level.  Relocation:is negotiable
