Sr. Software QA Analyst, Maplesoft, Waterloo, ON
Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Software QA Analyst to be part of a team in
testing our products, Maple, MapleNet, Maple TA and a wide range of add-on
products.
The candidate will establish a thorough understanding of our
products and be responsible for the following areas:
- Day-to-day organization of tasks within the Quality
Assurance group
- Summarization of project status
- Execute tests on variety of platforms
- Record defects and provide solution-oriented feedback
Additional responsibilities include
interfacing with Technical Support on difficult issues, producing test metrics
and reviewing business system updates relating to sales order
processing.
Requirements:
- Significant previous software testing experience
- SQA Certification would be an asset
- Knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux and Mac OS X operating systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Desire to learn new technologies and techniques
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering
- Able to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of web-based client/server applications
- Experience with automated testing tools, InstallAnywhere, Merant
PVCS Tracker and Maple are an asset.
