Job Summary
We're looking for a proactive, communicative HRMS Developer / Senior Analyst in
our IT organization. You will analyze and lead the selection, design,
development and implementation of business systems. This role is the liaison
between assigned business areas at The MathWorks and the Business Applications
IT group. If you have expert-level analytical skills, prior experience
supporting HR systems and a relationship-management attitude, we'd like to hear
from you!
Responsibilities
- Understanding business area needs, analyzing requirements/processes and
designing or recommending solutions.
- Supporting and enhancing existing
HR Systems including: Core HR and Benefits, Recruiting, Self-service and
Performance and Compensation.
- Supporting the systems needs of the Legal
and Facilities Management Departments
- Leading cross-functional teams to
gather requirements, review vendors and products and select the best system to
meet those needs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall IT systems experience
- Expert analytical and communication skills
- Proven experience with full-cycle business systems analysis, design and
development projects
- Strong relationship-building skills
- SQL database and relational database design skills required
- Current or prior experience supporting HR-related systems, ADP/PeopleSoft
- BS or MS degree in a business or IT-related area required
- Basic understanding of systems architectures, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server,
web-based applications,
