Description
This position will work closely with marketing business units to
provide target marketing lists and propensity models for product
campaign support and customer information/campaign analysis.
Responsibilities include providing technical and analytical support
including data mining, customer scoring, sample survey design, as well
as perform general analysis.
This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is required
- Masters degree is preferred
Job Experience
- Experience with large databases, database access, and data interpretation is required
- Experience with statistical tools/analysis, experimental design and sampling theory is also preferred
- Experience in SAS and SAS Macro
- Experience in SQL, Unix NT, or Oracle environments
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Client relationship skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of statistics
- An understanding of how to apply data insights into actionable business plans
- An ability to interpret data and present findings
- Ability to collaborate with Product Management and Market Research groups
- An understanding of marketing data sources (i.e. Axciom, InfoUSA)
- Candidates must be customer focused, exhibit a high degree of teamwork, and have attention to details
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Vendor management skills
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or relationship database
- Working knowledge of marketing theory/practice and relationship database design/structure is highly preferred
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- An ability to train users on data interpretation and on the user tools available for data analysis
- An ability to work with vendors to select appropriate tools for information management needs
- An understanding of the electric utility business Knowledge of Customer Service and Marketing business processes
- An understanding of the Data Access Query Server
