As a Credit Senior Analyst at Chase Cardmember Services, located in
Wilmington, DE, you will be responsible for managing credit risk for
new and existing United Airlines credit card portfolio customers.
Additionally this role will have matrix responsibility for credit line
management across other Travel and Entertainment portfolios. The Credit
Senior Analyst will partner with the SBU (Strategic Business Unit -
which includes Marketing and Finance) to provide analytics to support
overall risk objectives for the portfolio key credit events. The key
credit events include new account underwriting, credit line management,
authorizations, pricing and collections oversight. This individual will
also become the subject matter expert and strategy driver of credit
line increase and decrease criteria (proactive and reactive) across all
of the T&E portfolios).
- Identify and quantify areas of opportunity and risk for all credit risk events
- Present specific recommendations to management for approval and track implementations
- Lead monthly credit review meetings to track recent results and provide frequent feedback results of prior efforts
- Be a thought leader and overall partner to the larger SBU to design credit tests, new product launches/rollouts
- Partner with key process owners (acquisition,
marketing optimization, NIT process, etc.) to ensure T&E's best
interests are represented and that results are forthcoming
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required, Masters degree a plus
- 2+ years experience in analytic interpretation of key business measures, preferably in Bankcard Industry
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of SAS, SQL and statistics.
- Detailed and quality assurance oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
