Research, analyze and document moderate to complex financial analysis
projects within assigned department. Prepare and analyze operating and
strategic plans, including quarterly forecasts. Research and analyze
financial data; prepare summary analysis as assigned. Assist in
analysis and interpretation of financial statements and related
reports. Prepare analysis and interpretation of financial statements
and related reports. Design complex worksheets and/or databases for
tracking and reporting.
Prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed; prepare written
presentations of financial analyses ensuring reasoning for conclusions
are clearly illustrated. Recommend actions to be taken, as appropriate.
Prepare forecasts and analyze Company and/or business unit trends.
Participate in preparing long-term strategic plans for the Company, as
appropriate. Develop, enhance and monitor pricing models. Analyze and
interpret financial impact of alternative decisions on the
profitability of product lines and businesses. Analyze the potential
financial consequences of alternative business decisions relating to
profit opportunities and significant capital expenditures.
Assist in special investigations into finance-related issues and/or
opportunities. Collect and verify accuracy of information used for
financial analyses through internal and external reports, other
department personnel and published data. Coordinate with other
departments in preparing statistical studies, as appropriate. Provide
financial and technical expertise on projects requiring highly complex
financial analysis. Work on cross-functional teams with other
departments, as appropriate.
Analyze financial and business results of the Company and its
competitors to develop an information base for future managerial
action. Review and guide work of less experienced personnel to verify
accuracy of information used for financial analyses, using internal and
external reports, other departments, and published data. Adhere
strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with
Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report
control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
Complete other related duties as assigned and support the
Company’s Diversity programs.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of seven years of progressive financial and/or business analysis experience or equivalent
• Previous financial services experience preferred
• Full mastery of fully qualified position
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, project
management, problem-solving, presentation and verbal and written
communication skill
