Provide support to long- and short-term marketing programs. Coordinate
with vendors/agencies and purchasing to ensure cost efficiencies,
dependability, security of information, and scheduling flexibility
(Vendor types include: letter shops, printers, graphic designers,
agencies, etc.). Interface with operating departments and systems and
attends project task force meetings to ensure communication and
maximize customer acceptance.
Assure initial and ongoing program compliance with relevant regulatory,
legal and security methods/requirements. Involved in creative strategy
discussions to learn how to develop creative that work. Involved in
communication strategy discussions and understands branding concepts.
Responsible for invoice tracking and budget consolidation for projects.
Making recommendations on cost reduction. Understand aspects of program
P & L and works towards understanding the relationship of the
portfolio P & L.
May direct activities of Analysts; limited delegation through project
task force management. Expand marketing knowledge by attending
conferences, reading relevant publications and enrolling in seminars in
related disciplines. Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk
controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and
practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and
operational loss events. Support the Company’s Diversity
programs. Complete other related duties as assigned. Has an awareness
of testing and control methods. Learning segmentation strategies
related to marketing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
• One year general Marketing work experience, two years preferred
• One year experience working in Financial Services Marketing desirable
• Excellent organizational skills, detail orientated, proven oral and communication skills
• Knowledge of statistical software SAS, hands on skills on SAS, and MS Excel preferred
