Job Title: Econometrician/Statistician Software Developer

QMS seeks econometricians and statisticians to help identify and add new statistical procedures to its EViews software. In addition to developing statistical procedures, job responsibilities include writing technical documentation for the EViews manual, and providing QMS customers with support in the use of these procedures.

Job requirements include a strong background in econometrics or statistics (typically a Ph.D. or M.S. degree) and experience implementing econometric or statistical procedures in computer software. While EViews is programmed in C++, specific knowledge of that language is less important than the proven ability to transform statistical concepts into robust/supportable computer code.

QMS has multiple job openings in this area, and will consider candidates with varying levels of experience, from new degree holders to experienced professionals.
