Provides leadership, guidance and resource in the design, implementation and evaluation of continuous quality improvement activities organization wide. Ensures organizational compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements. 1) Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing with an active Wisconsin nursing license. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, successful completion of Health Care Quality certification exam (CPHQ) and additional education in TQM, CQI, productivity management and basic statistics beneficial. 2) A minimum of three years of acute care hospital experience, experience in data collection methodologies, data analysis and display, and demonstrated ability to plan, organize, set and accomplish objectives necessary to enhance and develop skills. Demonstrated ability in development and implementation of a clinical study, experience in program design and educational presentations, and experience as a practitioner in the field of healthcare quality management, quality assurance, medical reviews and chart abstracting beneficial.
