Job Description: The Applications Analyst is responsible for
day-to-day coordination and development of assigned regulatory
compliance, administrative and financial information system
applications. The Applications Analyst will participate in the design,
development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of new and
legacy systems. This position will refine business requirements for
systems by working with the IRB Chair, Vice-Chair, and the Director of
the Office of Human Subjects Protection, will coordinate with internal
IT resources for future software modifications to meet end user needs.
In addition, the position will work in conjunction with OHSP/IRB staff
to provide program management for the installation, maintenance, and
on-going support of the web-based IRB system.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is required. Management Information Systems or
Administrative/Financial Specialty is preferred. Minimum three (3)
years experience in a related financial, regulatory compliance,
research administration or IT area required. Minimum one (1) additional
years of information system application support and/or development
experience required. Experience supporting a research compliance
application preferred and familiarity with HTML and Java coding a plus.
