Job Description:
The Clinical Analyst works within the
Cancer Center supporting the divisions of Oncology, ACT, and Transplant
and Gene Therapy. This position works closely with team members in the
Cancer Center's Research Informatics department to support study teams
and faculty research efforts.
Responsibilities include:
Supports day-to-day operations and ongoing system applications.
Applies clinical research knowledge and participates in the design,
development, implementation, validation, and maintenance of new and
existing division and/or departmental databases.
Supports the change control process.
Advises, trains, and assists faculty and staff in the use of
division/department and institutional database applications, analytical
tools, and reporting software.
Maintains awareness and understanding of technological advances, clinical and research processes, and clinical issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials,
nursing, or a medical or scientific background required, including one
(1) year of experience in clinical database/system applications support
and/or development.
