Job Description:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders.  St. Jude Hospital is dedicated to providing unsurpassed patient care and to advancing the health of children through biomedical research. 
 
The mission of St. Jude's Department of Biostatistics is to promote clinical and laboratory investigations through the application and further development of statistical science.  Working toward this mission are 10 PhD Faculty and 15 MS-level biostatisticians. 
 
We are currently seeking a Biostatistician to join our team.  Responsibilities in this collaborative role include providing statistical expertise and analysis with emphasis on research initiatives focused on behavioral interventions, late effects of cancer treatment, quality of life outcomes, and health promotion. Preference will be given to those with experience analyzing longitudinal data and psychometric questionnaire data, including mixed effect model and logistic regression analyses, as well as model building strategies.
 
This individual will also participate in the design of data collection instruments and database management systems, programming, analysis of data, graphical presentation of results and reporting of results with interpretations and explanations of statistical techniques used and valid inferences. 

Qualifications
Requirements include a Master's degree in biostatistics, applied statistics or a Master's degree in statistics/mathematics with an emphasis in applied statistics. 

0-3 years of collaborative statistical experience in a medical/research environment is also required.
