Position Description
We are looking for a Research Statistician to join
our Client Data Inquiry team. This technical position will be
accountable for the interpretation, analysis, communication and
resolution of client technical questions related to analytical facts,
survey design or performance.
Job Requirements
1. Independently research and analyze client technical inquiries
2. Provide concise and professional written communications with timely status updates
3. Work with internal and external clients to fully resolve issue, recommending process/design changes, as needed
4. Conduct/ lead root cause investigations identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
5. Validate and measure client impact for change activity and special projects
6. Adhere to Data Inquiry polices, procedures, and service levels
Key Skills/Competencies
1. Strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills.
2. Proven problem solving skills (deductive reasoning and ability to see hierarchical relationships).
3. Sound computer skills (SAS, Microsoft Excel and Access, Word and Powerpoint, UNIX experience).
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively across functions at all levels.
5. Experience in analyzing large data sets (some experience with consumer or establishment survey data sets desirable).
Education Qualifications: BS (MS preferred) in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field
