$110k - $112k + bonus + relo

Reports to Dir Custom Research

Focus on this role is expertise in primary/secondary consumer research supporting demographic and labor data –quant. Candidate must have both client and supplier experience. This is a hands-on primary/secondary research role – exclusive to quantitative.

  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Insights and customer strategy
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and Initiatives
  • Formulates plans to do research studies that address business questions by determining and stipulating the scope of research, sampling plan, experimental design, and analytical plan
  • Identifies new research methods to address business questions (for example, store layout, merchandise features, communications with customers)
  • Manages relationships with research suppliers
  • Supports project teams by collaborating with team members from multiple departments.
  • Integrates and summarizes data sources to address questions about the company’s customers.
  • Manages department budget
  • Guides product suppliers in cooperative research

Minimum Qualifications for the Position: (Applicants must possess all of the following to be considered.)

  • 6 years of experience in designing, managing or directing primary/secondary marketing research for demographic and labor data. A strong quant background is essential and exclusive to this role.
  • Experience conducting research within a retail environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing Research, Statistics, Economics, or related field. Master’s Degree In Marketing Research, Statistics, Economics, or related field is preferred
