Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years finance, contracting or strategic planning across Payer Markets-PPIC

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree/MBA
  • Experience in customer analytics and or business development within PPIC
  • Experience working on a negotiating team such as a National team
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting

Details:

  • Designs, develops and manages the financial and contracting process to support contracted sales and delivers value from discounts in the market place.  Responsibilities include: strategic development, risk assessment, contract development, contract negotiations, contract implementation, contract fulfillment and performance measurement for National Accounts. 
  • Works with Director and Account VPs to develop, implement and support pricing and contracting strategy through analysis and presentation for internal and external customers.
  • Works with National Account Managers (NAMs) to ensure compliance of contracts with all company systems and audit requirements.
  • Analyzes and confirms the integrity and accuracy of all customer data submitted with respect to discounts and rebates paid.
  • Monitors contracts to ensure all discounts are within GSK guidelines
  • Assists account teams in contract negotiation and decision process through financial modeling of contract proposals.
  • Works with Director & Account VP to build annual sales and rebate budget for all contracted products.
  • Interfaces with finance to ensure budget accuracy.
  • Assists Product Management in development of pricing strategy.
  • Works with Director to define GSKs strategic direction in the National Accounts market segment.
  • Monitors market trends and National Accounts business model changes to ensure viability of GSK strategy.
  • Assists AVPs/NAMs in the development of contract strategies.
  • Provides individual account analysis to NAMs and assists AVPs in the development of annual business plan.
  • Assists director and segment head in the development of a next generation contract.
  • Interfaces with Federal, SGA and Legal concerning private sector impact of legislation.
  • Monitors Rx benefit design trends and projects expected impact on product sales and discounts.
  • Leads analytical projects across PPIC as assigned.
  • Serves on STAR board and acts as segment product expert in assigned therapeutic area.
