Teradata Solution Architect - Business Analytics & Optimization
The Teradata Solution Architect leads all aspects of the delivery of
CRM Business Intelligence solutions & related components in a
Teradata MPP environment. The Teradata Architect is responsible for:
* End-to-end solution architecture for DW / BI solutions in a Teradata MPP environment.
* Lead creation and implementation of data warehouse architecture and systems architecture
* Teradata data architecture / Teradata data model
* Providing guidance and leadership to ETL and Reporting teams for Teradata architecture and performance
* Provideing HW/SW oversight (selection, sizing, configuration recommendation & execution)
* Understanding business challenges and will translate them into requirements/solutions.
* Leading performance tuning / optimization
* Advising on advanced Teradata concepts including Teradata AJI's (aggregate join indices)
This is a travel based role (Monday through Friday as necessary) and it
is expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance
(generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston,
MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH;
Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT;
Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis,
MN; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; San
Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC. To be an official
