The purpose of this job is to provide workflow and resource
productivity consultation to hospital departments. Maintain and
support the hospital's financial goals by managing and utilizing
available operational, clinical and financial tools. Proactively
identify cost reduction and financial improvement opportunities.
This position will work closely with hospital senior leadership and
department heads and other internal and external stakeholders as
needed. This position is a highly visible role and will interact
with every key department in our health system. The role is a stand
alone role and the successful candidate should be very comfortable
assessing processes and developing relationships with key
stakeholders.
Education:
Required - Bachelors Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field of study.
Preferred - Masters Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field of study.
Experience:
Required - 4-6 years of experience business process improvement
role. Previous healthcare experience.
Preferred - 7+ years of experience in a process improvement function. Healthcare industry preferred.
Certification:
Required - None
Preferred - Green Belt certification through designated Six Sigma organization.
Knowledge:
Required - Demonstrated experience with concepts, practices, and
procedures regarding process improvement. Ability to plan and
accomplish goals.
Preferred - Knowledge of Lean methodologies.
