Accelrys’ Pipeline Pilot data pipelining products and services
are a fast-growth area, and we are adding to our team. This senior
level position is based in our headquarters in San Diego, CA and will
provide support and services to Pipeline Pilot customers. Key
responsibilities include providing scientific and technical support,
fulfilling short consulting projects, and training Accelrys customers.
Due to the high customer facing nature of the role, the position
requires outstanding interpersonal skills and a willingness to travel
up to 25% of the time. To be considered for this opportunity you should
have 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, an advanced degree in
Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Computational Biology/Chemistry,
or Bioinformatics, and significant experience troubleshooting technical
issues in Windows and Linux environments. Expertise with Pipeline
Pilot, fluency in scripting languages (including JavaScript, Perl, and
VBScript) is highly desired. Experience with Windows SharePoint or
Oracle and/or SQL databases would also be an advantage.
