Serves as the onsite advisor for clients using the PolkInsight system.
Primary Responsibilities
• Serves as primary onsite point-person to promote, support and advise on PolkInsight applications.
• Identifies meaningful market trends in the industry and among the client’s own business base.
• Serves as the liaison between client and the Company.
• Communicates customer needs, output and timing to project team.
• Conveys customer feedback to Polk sales teams and PolkInsight product development staff.
• Proactively interfaces directly with onsite client teams. Works
on special projects, ad hoc requests or noteworthy observations derived
from PolkInsight system.
• Provides analysis on specific client objectives.
• Understands customer questions and needs in order to offer answers using PolkInsight and other available information.
• Presents meaningful summaries and business implications to
various customer teams based on Polk and client information.
Presentations may be in a one-to-one fashion, or via formal
presentations in front of small or large client groups.
• Directly assists in implementing analytical/research studies by
working with other Polk members, including those from appropriate sales
teams and/or Analytical Solutions.
• Creates ad-hoc projects or reports as needed.
• Facilitates/delivers results as appropriate.
• Mentors clients, (Sr.) Analysts and sales teams on PolkInsight applications, reports, analysis and various solutions.
Secondary Responsibilities
• Develops proposals and quotes as appropriate.
• Provides PolkInsight client training as needed.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not supervise anyone
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Math,
Economics, or Marketing with at least six (6) years automotive industry
analysis experience in a marketing, sales or consulting role, or
equivalent combination of education and expertise.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills required. Must be able to adapt to different audiences.
• Must be able to translate and write customer or study design
needs into technical requirements and specifications and clearly
articulate to internal staff.
• Requires the ability to analyze opportunities and their impact.
• Excellent assessment/probing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using software applications, queries, ad hoc reporting and report writing tools.

Contract Consultant for Customer Research / Strategy Project
Need contract consultant for a 4- to 6- week customer and market
research project. Work will involve analyzing enhanced client customer
and transaction records, producing RFM segmentation, creating customer
value estimates, profiling segments, creating surveys to understand
customer needs and attitudes, and making strategy recommendations. Work
will start immediately and will involve time at client in So Cal.
Experience must include strategy consulting or market research, B2C
business, and ability to manipulate and analyze data in MySQL. Skills
